Every person in our community deserves access to the most advanced medical care available.
Through clinical research and innovation, MetroHealth pushes the boundaries of medicine in a setting of individualized care.
Taking Care to our Community’s Children
MetroHealth opened the Heights Wellness Center at Heights High School and expanded services to the entire district. The clinic—which expands our work in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District—offers physicals, chronic disease management, care coordination, mental health screenings, and urgent care. MetroHealth is also connecting families with resources that impact good health like housing, utility assistance, food, transportation, legal assistance, and more.
Increasing Access to Specialty Care
Through the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center and the MetroHealth Spinal Cord Injury Center, we’re advancing complex care for chronic and life-threatening health problems. And, through our world-renowned bariatrics program, we’re making life-changing weight management care more accessible to our community.
Research that Goes the Extra Mile
Para-athlete Adam Gorlitsky is part of a clinical trial at the MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute to have a functional electrical stimulation device implanted. A Guinness World Record holder, he recently competed in the 2023 Cleveland Marathon to highlight MetroHealth’s groundbreaking research.
