Serving our community means expanding our system so that every person has access to the care they need.
And, as our community is challenged with an increasing need for healthcare, we will rise up and meet those needs.
Equity in Transplant Care
We’ve launched a new Blood and Marrow Transplant Program for patients who need a transplant but cannot take part in other hospital programs. Patients are often turned away if they lack reliable transportation, have limited access to healthy foods, or do not have the financial resources to participate.
From Wellness to Well-Being
It’s rare to find a hospital making an investment in behavioral health, but we opened our new Behavioral Health Hospital in Cleveland Heights to meet the growing need for mental health services in our community.
Widening Our Doors
Through Ovatient, our virtual, in-home care service, we’re creating ways to bring behavioral and specialized care to the patient, reaching people in their homes with personalized care that ensures connectivity to their main healthcare provider. At the same time, Ovatient will help healthcare systems across the country share resources to provide better and more efficient virtual-first healthcare.
Stories of Hope
Each person within our care has an incredible story of hope to share. To read other Stories of Hope, follow metrohealthcle on Instagram.
Welcome to Cleveland, Baby!
This year, we opened a new, state-of-the-art birthing center at The MetroHealth Glick Center. Backed by an advanced Level III NICU, the MetroHealth Birthing Center gives our community a bright new space for the healthiest start in life.
